Deakos is a Natural Medicine Italian Company producing Parapharmaceuticals, Food Supplements and Medical Devices, founded in 2002 by Dr Ettore de Angelis.The great Italian herbal and phytotherapic tradition is the basis of all Deakos formulations, made and produced entirely in Italy, in Italian laboratories with all the authorizations and certifications required by law.In 2004 Deakos began his production by developing XEREM Crema, a medical device used to combat the pathology of Diabetic Foot.In 2007 Ausilium is released, the first product in Europe with D-mannose, useful to fight naturally lower urinary tract infections.The product, presented at the main Uro-Gynecology congresses, immediately became a best-seller.In the following years Deakos presents the first studies on D-mannose, published in important magazines such as Minerva Ginecologica, Minerva Urologica, Giornale Italiano di Urologia, Rivista Internazionale di Urologia, Bollettini Urologi Italiani.Ausilium line is then expanded, and currently counts over 15 references.Among these, two Medical Devices (a Vaginal Lavender and a Vaginal Cream, each proposed in two different packs) and three international patents.In 2012 Deakos Vet Division was born , for the production of Complementary Feeds in Veterinary field.Once again Deakos stands out as the first company in Europe presenting two D-mannose-based products dedicated to cystitis and urinary tract infections in dogs and cats, and later the version for rabbits and small mammals.With these products Deakos confirms the attention to urinary tract diseases with a product dedicated to feline and canine prostatitis and a product against stones and oxalates. The list is then enriched with a Spray Lotion suitable for all types of skin diseases, in all species.
